EDITOR'S NOTE

Fa Mulan faced many struggles.
She tried hard to be the perfect daughter—domestic, married, and a mother, fulfilling all the expectations placed on a woman of good standing, but to no avail.
While it would have been easy to give in, Mulan chose a different path. After a disastrous encounter with the matchmaker, her actions set her free.
Free from the shadows.
Free from the mold she forced herself into.
Free from the pursuit of perfection.

FREEWILL
It’s not just the ability to choose but the actions that shape who we are.
The battles we fight,
The pain we endure,
The joy we experience,
All lead us to a deeper understanding of ourselves.
I see Freewill as an embodiment of the various facets of a human being.
This issue aims to bring to light stories that resonate and inspire—words from those who have struggled but found their way to the light.
And with that, Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you Issue 8: *FREEWILL*.
Once again, thank you for giving us this opportunity.
Gratzi!
