Red Rubies

August 31, 2024

RED RUBIES
Sometimes I sit and wonder,
How soft is my skin?
In its dark richness and fullness,
How would it break under the weight of a knife?
I see myself running it softly on the surface
A sweet and cold caress
Leaving a trail of standing hairs in its wake
A cold and sensual shiver runs down my spine
A deeper pressing on the skin,
Red blots,
Small rubies, my eyes tear at their beauty.
I want to see more of these gems
The blade digs deeper beneath the surface
Maybe then I’d be able to truly open up
And carve out these gruesome feelings
